With thanks to the Swiss IT pro User Group and Digicomp, the first Zurich PowerShell Scriptclub will be held in Zurich next week, Tuesday 3 November 2009. This Scriptclub will be led by Marc van Orsouw (aka /\/\0\/\/ or the PowerShell Guy).

Marc van PowerShell is a Dutch but living in Switzerland and is a PowerShell MVP for the last 4 years in a row, he is best known for his blog thePowerShellGuy.com and his utilities for PowerShell as PowerTab and the PowerShell WMI explorer.

What is a PowerShell Script Club?
Script Clubs are like a hands on lab with no set topic or teacher. You bring an idea for a script, and ask your fellow PowerShell users for help getting the script written.
Script Club is a great way to learn PowerShell. Ideally, you bring a laptop, your problems, and your curiosity*. Everyone at Script Club helps everyone else get up to speed on PowerShell, answers each others questions, and solves their scripting problems.
With the recent release of Windows PowerShell V2 at October 22, 2009 (with Windows 7 included for free) and the Windows Management Framework that includes PowerShell V2 for XP/2003/2008 1 week later at October 27, the focus will be at the new PowerShell V2 functionality, but is in no way restricted to this.
Join the PowerShell Script Club and be part of the community today!
Beginner through Advanced users equally welcome.
* computers with PowerShell V2 installed may be available.
