1. Thema: Aufbau eines Data Warehouse mit SQL-Server-BI-Umgebung
Mit diesem Vortrag werden wir uns der Frage widmen, wie man mit der SQL-Server BI-Umgebung ein Data Warehouse bauen kann. Hierbei wird zunächst gezeigt, wie man die Daten aus operatinalen Quellen in die analytische Datenbank lädt (z.B. Slowly Changing Dimension, Incremental Load, Star Scheme). Schliesslich werden wir einen analytischen Cube aufbauen (Dimensions, Measures, Calculated Members, MDX Queries, KPIs).

Experience first hand the exciting new features and enhancements in Windows Server 2008 (Longhorn) that will give you more control and increased protection with greater flexibility from branch office to enterprise deployment scenarios. The topic on PowerShell in Windows Server 2008 will round up the session. This is a compact technical introduction to Windows Server 2008 with focus on demonstration highlighting the "classic" Windows graphical interface and the new Server core component.
