Session 1 SQL Server 2008 – Business Intelligence -------------------------------------------- Microsoft
SQL Server 2008 provides a scalable BI platform optimized for data
integration, reporting, and analysis enabling organizations to deliver
intelligence where users want it. New features like improved cube
designers, MOLAP enabled write-back capabilities, easy creation and
deployment of reports will be covered in the session.

Schneider works in a Technical Presales Position for Business
Intelligence within Microsoft Switzerland. His main focus is
Performance Management in the Enterprise Customers Segment. Before he
worked as a Senior Consultant at an Austrian System Integrator in
different areas and started working on SQL Server in 1996 (SQL Server
6.5).
Session 2 SQL Server 2008 - Management Studio's New Features -------------------------------------------- SQL Server Management Studio is the main interface to the DBMS/Analysis Services and to an extent Reporting Services. This session delves into some of the topchanges that have been brought into SQL Server Management Studio such as changes to the activity monitor, multi server queries the T-SQL debugger and Intellisense, opening up to discussions on how this may change the way you work or help in your day to day operations.

Now based in Zurich, Charley Hanania earlier provided support and consulting in database development, architecture and administration related areas to numerous organisations throughout Europe and Australasia. With over 12 years experience, Charley has focussed on MS SQL Server since version 4.21 and became active in the SQL Server community in the mid 90's. He continues to lead an active role in the SQL Server space through the Swiss IT Pro User group, and the Swiss PASS Chapter.
